Audition Day Specifics
1.) In person auditions and call backs will take place at Red Phoenix Performing Arts Studio at 8560 Holcomb Bridge Road, Alpharetta, GA 30022, Suite 111. Try to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled audition time. We want to make sure that the process is as smooth and efficient as possible. Your prompt attendance will greatly expedite the audition process.
2.) For your audition, please make sure that your accompaniment does not have lead vocals on it. We prefer instrumental only accompaniment. It is unwise to stream music for accompaniment, as wifi can be unreliable. We encourage you to have your song downloaded onto your device or burned on a cd. Your audition should not exceed 60 seconds in length.
3.) Your general audition should be 60 seconds in length max! Please slate your name, height, and age at the beginning of your audition.
4.) If you are submitting a general audition video, please note the videos submission deadline on the respective audition page. For video submission, please send your self tape to us via a youtube link to contact@redphoenix.org. In the Subject Field of the email, please put "Title of Show Auditioning For_First Name_Last Name_Song Title" so that we can group you appropriately. It should be an "unlisted" youtube link so that we can easily access it, but it won't be visible to the general public. Please title the video the same on youtube as you do for the subject line of your email.
5.) We will only be looking at vocal performances at the general audition. We encourage everyone to PERFORM the song at auditions. Show us that you can communicate a character to an audience through your song. It is recommended to select a song that shows your vocal range AND acting ability.
6.) If you need to cancel your audition, please contact Red Phoenix as quickly as possible. If you withdraw from the show, once the cast list is released, it can impact future opportunities with Red Phoenix.
